What makes a poor martial artist?

There are the common problems of the many teachers, and we are talking the lowest of the low.
These are not the fellows who demand discipline and deserved respect, but rather see dominance. They just want to be in charge, be the whip cracker, and they have as their goal the suppression of students, unless that student happens to end up like them, a dominator who demands bows instead of perfection.
Then there is the money hog martial arts instructor. He is in it for the business. Yes, we do have to make a living, but these guys haven’t looked at another system for years, have not upgraded their own learning, except to learn about unbreakable contracts and how to resign somebody… instead of relying on the instruction being delivered perfectly and in such a way that the student yearns to resign.
Bad Martial-Arts Courses On The Internet
There is a secret word that lets you know when a paid course is going to be bad. It’s the word, “Ninja.”
I am not saying that ninjitsu is bad. There are some diligent teachers out there in the real world. But in Cyberspace… My belief is that courses that include the word “ninja” are what you are trying to avoid.
Most martial artists that claim that they are going to teach you how to be the next ninja warrior don’t have a clue. They are after your money.
