Welcome to the Martial Arts Journey YouTube network!

My name is Rokas. I’m a Lithuanian person that educated Aikido for 14 years, 7 of them running a professional Aikido Dojo up until at some point I understood that Aikido does not meet what it guarantees.

Lead by this awareness I determined to make a bold step to close my Aikido Dojo as well as relocate to Portland, Oregon for six months to start educating MMA at the well-known Straight Blast Gym Headquarters under head train Matt Thornton.

After six months intensive training I had my very first amateur MMA battle after which I returned to Lithuania. Throughout all of this time around I am documenting my experience through my YouTube channel called “Martial Arts Journey”.

Currently I am slowly establishing strategies to proceed training MMA under high quality guidance and preparing yourself for my next MMA battle as I even more document and also share my trip and also explorations.
