MOVIE DESCRIPTION:
This sequel to the 1984 shock hit The Karate Kid reunites Ralph Macchio as high-schooler Danny and Noriyuki “Pat” Morita as Danny’s martial-arts coach, Miyagi. Grabbing where the very first movie left off, The Karate Kid Part II finds Danny and also Miyagi making an emergency trip to Okinawa, where Miyagi’s papa is dying. Here they take another look at Miyagi’s childhood sweetie (Nobu McCarthy), who, Miyagi thinks, had been wheedled into an organized marriage with loose-cannon karate expert Sato (Danny Kamekona). Bit does Miyagi realize that the female is still solitary; Sato is still around too, however, as well as bent on returning to the battle with his old nemesis. Morita concurs; on the other hand, Danny is tested by Kamekona’s pugnacious nephew (Yuji Okumoto).
