FILM DESCRIPTION:
When a 12-year-old from Detroit relocates to China with his mommy and sustains the rage of the class bully at his new institution, he makes an unlikely ally in the type of his aging upkeep man, a martial art master who teaches him the secrets to protection. Upon coming to his new school, Dre Parker (Jaden Smith) establishes a powerful crush on appealing classmate Mei Ying. The sensation is shared, although the cultural divide in between Dre as well as Mei Ying makes a relationship unlikely, as well as romance difficult. When terrible classmate as well as martial art natural born player Cheng learns of Dre’s feelings for Mei Ying, he bugs and also degrades the young outsider in front of the whole school. With no one to count on for aid, Dre trusts his anxieties in kindly maintenance guy Mr. Han (Jackie Chan), a kung fu master that recognizes that calmness as well as maturation– not punches and power– are real keys to grasping the martial arts. As Dre prepares to encounter down his daunting browbeater, he starts to recognize that the actual fight is simply beginning.

Dojo
Taekwondo (English pronunciation /ˌtaɪˌkwɒnˈdoʊ/ or (thai-KWAN-doh): also transcribed as Taekwon-Do or Tae Kwon Do) is a Korean martial art with a heavy emphasis on kicks. Taekwondo was developed during the 1940s and 1950s by various Korean martial artists, as a blend of the indigenous Korean fighting styles of taekkyeon, gwonbeop, and subak, with influence from foreign martial arts, such as Karate and Chinese martial arts.
