My name is Rokas. I’m a Lithuanian person who trained Aikido for 14 years, 7 of them running a professional Aikido Dojo until eventually I recognized that Aikido does not live up to what it assures.

Lead by this awareness I chose to make a bold action to shut my Aikido Dojo and relocate to Portland, Oregon for 6 months to start educating MMA at the famous Straight Blast Gym Headquarters under head train Matt Thornton.

After six months intensive training I had my initial amateur MMA battle after which I relocated back to Lithuania. During every one of this moment I am documenting my experience through my YouTube channel called “Martial Arts Journey”.

Now I am gradually setting up plans to continue training MMA under high quality support and getting all set for my next MMA fight as I additionally record and share my trip as well as explorations.
