My name is Rokas. I’m a Lithuanian guy that educated Aikido for 14 years, 7 of them running a specialist Aikido Dojo till ultimately I recognized that Aikido does not live up to what it assures.

Lead by this realization I determined to make a daring action to shut my Aikido Dojo and also move to Portland, Oregon for 6 months to start educating MMA at the well-known Straight Blast Gym Headquarters under head trainer Matt Thornton.

After six months extensive training I had my first amateur MMA fight after which I returned to Lithuania. During all of this time around I am documenting my experience with my YouTube channel called “Martial Arts Journey”.

Now I am gradually establishing plans to proceed training MMA under high quality assistance and also preparing yourself for my following MMA fight as I further document and also share my journey and also discoveries.
