My name is Rokas. I’m a Lithuanian man who educated Aikido for 14 years, 7 of them running a specialist Aikido Dojo until eventually I realized that Aikido does not live up to what it assures.

Lead by this realization I made a decision to make a bold action to close my Aikido Dojo as well as relocate to Portland, Oregon for six months to begin educating MMA at the famous Straight Blast Gym Headquarters under head trainer Matt Thornton.

After six months intensive training I had my first amateur MMA fight after which I moved back to Lithuania. During all of this time around I am documenting my experience through my YouTube network called “Martial Arts Journey”.

Now I am gradually setting up plans to continue training MMA under quality assistance as well as preparing yourself for my following MMA battle as I better record as well as share my trip and also discoveries.
