To make it even easier, I’ll help you get started.  Just contact me and I’ll send you my free report on how to pick a martial arts school.

Martial arts, is one of the best physical and mental activities that it also can help the mind grow and develop.  Martial arts, is physical but it is also mental the martial arts can benefit the whole person it can help with flood development.  It is not just a bunch of kicks, punches and throws.  The mental art can plays a very large part on assisting a person to become better people.  When I say better I am saying that martial arts is 10% physical and 90% mental.  Please remember the mind guides the body.  Martial arts like Karate, Jujutsu are outstanding not only for health but for self-defense, self-confidence, self-control, balance, stress reduction, social skills, and conditioning.  This again is not just in the body it is very much in the mind.

The solution is a very simple one: make time, three times a week, to do something violent! Find a martial arts club or a boxing club, and sign up. You can hit the punchbags and spar with other people in a controlled environment, where you will be safe. Just doing this simple action will of course keep you fit; but it will enable your body to metabolise away the adrenaline and other stress hormones in your blood, and release calming endorphins. The excellent thing about joining a martial arts club is that, if it is a good one, you will get all the exercise you need to appease your fight or flight response, but you will also get training in meditation. So as you progress, you will have a hobby that keeps you fit, helps you to defend yourself, enables you to control your stress, and if the stress does get the better of you, the martial art also offers an avenue – called a punchbag – to relieve that stress, rather than keeping hold of it or releasing it in a place where you really shouldn’t!

Tai Chi Martial Arts For Your Health

The martial arts have long been popular for people from the very young to senior citizens. The varied types are for the varied tastes of the people practicing the art. Long considered the foundation of all martial arts has been Tai Chi Chuan. There are many benefits to practicing Tai Chi: patience, perseverance, better posture, development of ch’i and its flow up the spine, emptying the mind, single weight and breathing into the Tan T’ien which develops ch’i.

Like a muscle, the brain needs to be used on a regular basis in order to grow stronger. If your brain is not challenged on a daily basis, it will begin to deteriorate. Learning new information and new skills puts your brain to work and helps it to form new connections between nerve cells. Therefore, as you learn more about martial arts and as you master new skills, your brain will make new connections that help to make it stronger. After we learn and master new skills, they become routine and provide the brain with less stimulation. As such, achieving the higher levels of proficiency in martial arts and learning new things, such as a difficult kata requires continual stimulation of the brain.
