My name is Rokas. I’m a Lithuanian individual who educated Aikido for 14 years, 7 of them running an expert Aikido Dojo until eventually I recognized that Aikido does not measure up to what it assures.

Lead by this understanding I made a decision to make a daring action to shut my Aikido Dojo and transfer to Portland, Oregon for 6 months to begin training MMA at the famous Straight Blast Gym Headquarters under head instructor Matt Thornton.

After 6 months intensive training I had my first amateur MMA fight after which I relocated back to Lithuania. Throughout all of this time around I am documenting my experience with my YouTube network called “Martial Arts Journey”.

Currently I am slowly setting up strategies to proceed training MMA under top quality advice and also getting ready for my next MMA fight as I even more record and also share my journey as well as discoveries.
