Aikido Black Belt vs BJJ Black Belt

After 15 years of Aikido practice and 4 years of BJJ I determined to attempt my Aikido versus a BJJ black belt. Below’s what happened.

Welcome to the Martial Arts Journey. My name is Rokas. I educated Aikido for 15 years, 7 of them running a professional Aikido Dojo up until eventually I recognized that Aikido does not measure up to what it promises.

Lead by this awareness I determined to make a daring action to close my Aikido Dojo as well as relocate to Portland, Oregon for six months to begin educating MMA at the famous Straight Blast Gym Headquarters under head instructor Matt Thornton.

After six months intensive training I had my very first amateur MMA battle after which I relocated back to Lithuania. Throughout every one of this time around I am documenting my experience through my YouTube channel called “Martial Arts Journey”.

Currently I am gradually setting up strategies to continue training MMA under high quality guidance and also preparing yourself for my next MMA battle as I even more record as well as share my trip and also discoveries.
