Watch toddler do the student creed for taekwondo

In this video a 3 year old girl does her student creed with her trainer. Its funny to watch because she is actually good!

Three athletes from Givans Taekwondo Napa were among the more than 4,000 competitors who competed in the USA Taekwondo National Championships in Austin, Texas two weeks ago.

Taekwondo has gained popularity in recent years and, reflecting that trend, some brackets had more than 50 athletes competing for coveted USAT National Championship medals.

The Napa athletes were entered in Gyorugi, or Sparring, divisions.

Lindsey Corrigan competed in the age-10-11 black belt division, which had 20 competitors. Corrigan, who had officially received her black belt only a few weeks before the championships, fought well and demonstrated her ability to compete alongside the best athletes in the country.

Maximilian Neujahr competed in the age-8-9 red belt division, which had 29 competitors. Neujahr, who had received his red belt in April, was able to reach the finals by winning his first four matches and giving up only one point in the process. He lost his fifth and final fight to an advanced red belt, bringing home a silver medal.

Alexander Neujahr competed in the age-8-9 green belt division, which had 26 competitors. The 7-year-old won his first four matches and lost his fifth and final fight, taking home another silver medal for the team.

Each one of these competitors worked and trained five days a week, up to three to four hours a day with Master Steven Miller to be prepared for this level of competition.

“We are very proud of each of their performances and dedication to this sport,” Miller said.

Three-year-old Sophie Wong might just kick your butt, but not before she recites her student creed at her U.K. martial arts center. If she fights with as much dedication as she speaks, she’s got a bright future ahead.
